MANDALAY DIVISION – Mandalay People’s Defence Force (MDY PDF) said that the second part of Operation 1027 and Operation Shan Man are being implemented in a balanced way, and 80 % of the intended military targets have been successfully achieved.
This statement was included in the gratitude letter sent by MDY PDF to the allied revolutionary forces on August 12.
It is stated that the role of allied ethnic resistance organizations is really crucial in the successful implementation of military operations by Mandalay People’s Defense Force (MDY PDF) operating under the command of Ministry of Defence of National Unity Government.
Due to the coordinated offensives of MDY PDF and allied forces, the junta council is facing losses and the revolutionary forces have currently captured and seized control of many areas in Mandalay, including Mogok and Sintgu.
MDY PDF expressed its sincere gratitude to the allied revolutionary forces and is ready to continue working together until the military dictatorship is eradicated.
Kyaukse District Battalion 1, Kyaukse District Battalion 2, Myingyan District Battalion 4, Madaya Moe Mhan Force, Nyaung U District Battalion 3, Shwebo District Battalion 7, Battalion 8, Battalion 10, Battalion 14, Battalion 15, Battalion 16, Battalion 18, Battalion 23, Battalion 25, Battalion 26, Yesagyo Daung Nyi Naung Force, Watlat Daung Ni Force, Sintgaing Revolutionary Force, Talote PDF, National Liberation Army (NLA) Tamu and the MDY PDF are conducting joint operations.
