KACHIN STATE – A source said that earlier this morning, the military council carried out airstrikes Zutya refugee camp in a group of Amatgyi village tract, Shweku Township and people casualties.
It’s been reported that there were airstrikes by the military council at the Zutya refugee camp, Pikawyan Village, Amatgyi village tract without fighting on the early morning of September 19. That refugee camp was built in 2011.
A source said that “Zutya refugee camp was bombarded at 3:00 a.m. without fighting. A civilian child was injured, and now we have come down to Liza Hospital for medical treatment.” The injured child was a young man aged 13.
In addition to the evacuation site, the school has been attacked. It is still being investigated.
The Military Council bombarded the Zutya refugee camp as well as Naung Cho, Mindat Township in the early morning of September 19.
There has been no fighting in the Shweku Township in the past few days, but the military council is trying to travel from the waterway to provide military assistance and food to Bhamo. KIA Allied Forces attacked the junta vessels between Shweku and Bhamo and some vessels were damaged.
The Military Council targets civilian habitats and has been carrying out airstrikes and attacking with heavy weapons whenever their troops and camps are attacked. Additionally, airstrikes are being carried out in towns and villages that they have lost control.
