SAGAING DIVISION – An official from Brother Defence Force reported that two junta forces were killed in a mine attack on junta hidden sentries on the Monywa-Pathein Road.
On August 7 around 7 a.m., revolutionary forces carried out a mine attack on the terrorist junta forces that came out from Wangbao Yangtze to set up hidden sentry posts on the Monywa-Pathein Road, killing two junta soldiers.
“We carried out a mine attack on the junta dogs (junta forces) that came out from Wangbao Yangtze to set up hidden sentry posts on the Monywa-Pathein Road this morning (August 7) around 7 a.m. Two junta dogs died on the spot and two more were heavily injured. We personally saw it,” said the official from Brother Defence Force.
The attack was said to have been carried out by Brother Defence Force, Company 1 of Yinmabin District Battalion 16 and the official added that the defence force is in need of support from the people and also advised the civilians to avoid the junta forces as much as possible.
