SAGAING DIVISION – A mine attack on a vehicle of the terrorist junta council near Wanpyae Village in Myinmu Township killed two junta soldiers, according to an official from Dog Killers People’s Defence Force (DKPDF) Myinmu.
On August 5 at 8:32 a.m., the terrorist junta forces stationed at the gas station between Alakappa Village and Wanpyae Village in Myinmu Township were returning from Myinmu Town in an iron plate reinforced vehicle when they were attacked with three mines near Wanpyae Village, killing two terrorist junta forces and injuring many.
“They have been going back and forth between the town and the gas station where they are stationed. We knew when they left for the town but let them go without attacking then carried out a surefire attack on their way back. Now they no longer send their dead or injured troops to the hospital but treat them at their own camps. They also fired back recklessly with small and heavy weapons. In particular, they fired a large number of heavy weapons. One heavy artillery shell landed near one of our comrades but didn’t explode so our comrade brought it back,” said the official from DKPDF Myinmu.
The attack was carried out by DKPDF Myinmu and it is said that the defence forces were able to withdraw safely although the junta forces recklessly fired back with heavy weapons.
