YANGON DIVISION – According to the local civilians, some extreme explosions occurred in the junta council’s Yangon Mingaladon Air Force Base Headquarters as it was attacked by using missiles on the night of November 5.
At around 11:35 p.m. on November 5, a strong explosion occurred after the sound of the missile shootings from the Mingaladon Air Force Base Headquarters. It was known that the explosions occurred two times. The first explosion was very strong and even the nearby houses were quaked.
A local resident mentioned that “because of the explosion which occurred in the air force base at around 11:35 p.m., even the nearby houses were quaked. Our ward is close to the control tower of the air force base. The explosion occurred near the tower. It was a very strong explosion.”
Even though the second explosion occurred at around 11:40 p.m., it was not as strong as the first explosion.
Some of the military news sources from the air force base also confirmed that there were missile attacks towards the air force base.
According to the Yangon based scouts, the fascist junta council blockaded the entire Mingaladon township and conducted investigations.
Moreover, the coup council also issued that Alar air force base headquarters was attacked by Kamikaze drones, in Lewe township, Naypyitaw Council region.
It was known that the missions to attack the junta council’s crucial buildings and departmental buildings in Lewe township were performed by using local-made Fixed Wing drones.
The coup council propagandized that they could manage to shoot down the Fixed Wing drones which entered the territory of the Naypyitaw Council region. Three drones crashed down on the way. They issued that one crashed drone was found near Kyaungye village, one crashed drone was found near Kyankhinsu village and one crashed drone and bomes were found near Nanwinai village. It was also stated in the junta council’s statement that there were no casualties and the buildings were not damaged.
