SHAN STATE – The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) released 185 family members of the prisoners of war captured from the junta Northeast Command in Lashio as the seventh batch on August 13 and they were picked up by Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP) troops.
“185 family members of the prisoners of war were released today (August 13). It was just as usual. SSPP troops coordinated and picked them up,” said a local revolutionary news source.
Those family members of prisoners of war were released starting August 6, with 385 released as the first batch, 445 released as the second batch on August 7, third batch of 308 on August 8, fourth batch of 338 on August 9, fifth batch of 331 on August 11, sixth batch of 373 on August 12 and this latest seventh batch of 185 on August 13.
