SAGAING DIVISION – Monywa District People’s Defence Force (PDF) Battalion 3 held a ceremony to honour and remember the fallen revolutionary soldiers of Spring Revolution where they laid wreaths and saluted the fallen heroes.
Four revolutionary soldiers lost their lives in the battle at Htanlaypin in Monywa Township on November 6, 2022.
The Finance Officer of Monywa District Battalion 3 informed that they held the ceremony on July 19, Martyrs’ Day but postponed the announcement to avoid coinciding with the Martyrs’ Day events.
The battalion said it has plans to carry out missions and requested the public for support in order to equip the members of the battalion with defensive gears such as bulletproof vests and helmets to prevent loss of lives during the missions.
