SHAN STATE (NORTH) – According to the accountable person of Hnalonehla charity group, more than 100 civilians houses were damaged by the junta council’s airstrikes during the battles, in Hsipaw township, Shan state. Almost 200 civilians whose houses were destroyed have been fleeing until now.
It has been reported that during the junta council’s airstrikes, damages were mostly in Tonhsint village, Zatsu village, Kyaungsu village and Narhmone village.
The accountable person of Hnalonehla charity group mentioned that “we don’t know the exact number of the civilian casualties. Almost 200 civilians are still having to flee as their house were damaged.”
On November 5, Hnalonehla charity group donated 100,000 mmk per a family for 50 houses which were damaged during the airstrikes. On October 19, the charity group also contributed 55,000 mmk per an IDP (internally displaced people) in the IDP camps in Hsipaw township.
