MANDALAY DIVISION – It was reported that over 30 of terrorist junta soldiers were killed, three were captured alive, 27 weapons of various kinds were seized and one of the Revolutionary Comrades sacrificed his live during the Natogyi Town capturing battle, according to the Natogyi People Defense Force (Myingyan District Battalion – 4).
Starting from 5:30 a.m., on August 10, five Revolutionary Columns reportedly carried out simultaneous attacks on Aye Kyaung, construction office, court, administration office, police station and check point on the eastern part of Natogyi Town, where the junta forces were stationed. During the fight, over 30 of terrorist junta soldiers were killed, three were captured alive, and 27 weapons of various kinds were seized.
It was said that Mr. Thun Htet, Company Commander of Myingyan District Battalion – 4 fell during the fighting. The terrorist junta launched several airstrikes over the town, and thus Revolutionary Forces had to retreat as they were unable to control the town.
Natogyi Regional Defence Force – NRDF (Myingyan District Battalion – 8), Natogyi People’s Defence Organization, Tada-U People’s Defence Organization, Myingyan District Drone Strike Team (MDDS) cooperate in the Natogyi Town capturing battle along with Natogyi People Defense Force (Myingyan District Battalion – 4).
