MAGWAY DIVISION – An official from Southern YSO PDF reported that nine junta soldiers were killed in the attack on the junta station at Myauklukan Village in Pakokku Township.
On September 5 around 11:30 a.m., revolutionary forces launched an attack on the junta camp at the monastery in Myauklukan Village, located close to the air strip, where around 100 junta forces are stationed.
In the battle, nine junta soldiers were killed and six were injured and sent to Pakokku Hospital while two PDF soldiers received minor injuries and the revolutionary forces were able to successfully fall back.
“We attacked the (junta) camp at the monastery where around 100 forces are stationed in Myauklukan Village. We personally saw nine junta dogs (junta forces) die in the attack. Six dogs are at the hospital. Two PDF soldiers were lightly wounded and we were able to retreat successfully,” said the official from Southern YSO PDF.
The attack was carried out by Southern YSO PDF, Daung Nyinaung, Yesagyo Revolution Group (YRG), Daung Thway Ni, Pyithu Arhman and King Cobra Forces.
