SOUTHERN SHAN STATE- An official of the Dhanu People’s Liberation Army (DPLF/DPLA) said that 9 junta troops were killed, 8 were captured alive and 19 guns were seized during the battle in the Kyaukgu area of Yaksouth Township.
At around 11:18 a.m., on August 8, a battle between the (DPLF/DPLA) joint forces and the terrorist military council forces took place in the Kyaukgu area, where the DPLA was active in Yaksouth Township.
During this battle, eight members of the terrorist military council were captured and nine were killed. Nineteen weapons were seized during the battle, and many members of the military council were reportedly injured.
“In the battle, 9 war dogs were killed, eight were captured alive and 19 weapons were seized. Between justice and injustice, the wrongdoer is always losing,” a DPLF/DPLA official said.
The battle took place when the Jubta column advanced and attacked the Dhanu People’s Liberation Army (DPLF/DPLA).
At around 3:45 p.m. on the battle day, the junta army attacked with a fighter jet, a DPLA official said.
