MYANMAR- National Unity Government (NUG) Union Prime Minister (Mr.) Mann Win Khaing Than sent a message to the International Youth Day ceremony on August 12.
In the message, the National Unity Government promised to create a better society for the youths, along with their efforts, not only during but also after the Spring Revolution.
“This International Youth Day celebrates the spirit and talent of young people around the world and in many countries, the day is celebrated with joy. As for youths in Myanmar, instead of celebrating the day, they are fighting for the common good through hard work and poverty to eliminate the terrorist Junta regime. We respect and appreciate the strong spirit of those youths,” the Prime Minister stated.
The message also mentioned the youths who had fallen during the spring revolution and their sacrifices are remembered and honored.
“The future of Myanmar is in the hands of brave young people and all the youths, actively participating and taking responsibility in various sectors of the Spring Revolution without putting their interests and lives first, are greatly honored and respect,” stated Union Prime Minister.
