MYANMAR – Ministry of Defence (MoD) of National Unity Government (NUG) reported on September 25 that more than 1,000 people were dead and missing and hundreds of thousands of people are suffering from floods across Myanmar due to Super Typhoon Yagi.
In addition, the terrorist junta army intentionally makes inhuman and barbaric acts such as seizing the aid and relief materials to be delivered to the people affected by the flood and block the transportation and communication channels, the ministry said.
People’s Defence Force (PDF), columns and People’s Defence Organization (PDO) under command of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of NUG had carried out emergency reliefs in their controlled-areas and distributed cash and food stuff to the flood affected people.
