MYANMAR – Mr. Nay Phone Latt, the spokesperson for NUG Prime Minister Officer, said during the press briefing “message to the people and the international community” that the door to cooperation is always open to the teams who have not agreed to cooperate under the COC of the Ministry of Defence, National Unity Government.
“There are teams who have formed into battalions under the MOD Chain of Command formed in cooperation with the ethnic revolutionary organizations and there are teams who have agreed to cooperate with the Ministry of Defence in the military sector. Our doors are always open to the teams who have not yet established cooperation agreement under the COC as well in order to achieve the same revolution goals,” said Mr. Nay Phone Latt.
He explained that the National Unity Government is cooperating practically with the ethnic revolutionary organizations and also working together in various forms with the revolutionary forces that are born in the Spring Revolution.
In addition, it was also informed that the military operations have begun in the plains region. “It is important that we are able to cooperate as a systematic team in order to develop into an effective force in the offensive operations that began in the plains region,” said Mr. Nay Phone Latt.
According to data as of November 2, revolutionary forces have seized control of up to 86 towns.
