MYANMAR – Myanmar citizens abroad can now apply birth certificates for their children from the Department of Immigration, Ministry of State Affairs and Immigration, National Unity Government.
This is intended for children born to Myanmar parents currently overseas for various reasons who don’t wish to associate with the Myanmar embassies that are under the terrorist junta council so that the children won’t lose their original rights.
The Ministry informed that birth certificates are a truly essential procedure for the Myanmar citizens abroad and is a practical service that the department can offer amidst difficulties and restrictions.
