MAGWAY DIVISION: The responsible person from No. 6 Battalion stated that they had paid respects to the parents of the wounded and deceased comrades from No. 16 Battalion in Gangaw district. These individuals belong to the People’s Defense Force under the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government of Myanmar. They suffered misfortune while performing military service in the ‘Spring Revolution,’ and respects were paid with the provision of commodities.
The parents of the wounded and deceased were paid respects on November 12, known by released records on November 23 by Yinmarbin district No.(16) Battalion (Laung She Regional People’s Defence Force).
The responsible person of the Battalion said, “There are (8) deceased comrades and (1) disabled wounded comrade. The parents and the families members of them were paid respects with approximately 96 kilograms of rice, 2 litres of cooking oil, condensed milk, Pasoe (Myanmar traditional men’s wear cloth) and canned snacks like a form of paying respects to elders.”
While paying respects, the elderly and the parents of the comrades delivered speeches, offering well wishes and words of encouragement. These were received with respect and appreciation.
He continued, “Some comrades had been killed in Laung She battle, some had stepped on land mines and some had an accident while attempting to manufacture the explosive devices. This act is a prove that we never forget our comrades who have sacrificed since the beginning of revolution.”
Gangaw District No.(6) Battalion will always remember and appreciate the late comrades who had sacrificed their lives and parts of their bodies during the revolution and their families.
