MANDALAY DIVISION – Freedom Fighter Guerrilla Force (FFGF) – Myingyan issued a statement on August 19 for the public to stay alert as clashes may occur anytime on Myingyan-Taungtha and Myingyan-Natogyi roads.
“Now, it’s the time of military operations. Some of the civilians do not follow the traveling restrictions. That’s why, we issued a statement. Battles may break out at any time on mentioned places,” said an official of FFGF – Myingyan.
Freedom Fighter Guerrilla Force (FFGF) added that the junta council carried out 4 airstrikes on some villages in Myingyan Township on August 18 without having any battle, resulted damaging some civilians’ houses. Two civilians also had minor injuries.
The revolutionary forces such as the Myingyan District Battalion 4, Battalion 8, Myingyan District Drone Force, and Natogyi People’s Defence Organization (PDO) have been carrying out attacks towards terrorist junta council.
