MAGWAY DIVISION – An official from the western zone of the Myaing Township People’s Defence Force (PDF) stated that they arrested the people who were delivering rations to the Pyu Saw Htee base at Thayetkwa Village in Myaing Township.
It is said that the members of Myaing PDF, based on the received info, observed the cars seized by the terrorist junta council and were able to intercept and arrest two light trucks loaded with 50 bags of rice and 50kg of salt that were headed to the Pyu Saw Htee base on October 19.
The car owners and drivers were released after investigation while the rations were confiscated. The arrest was carried out by the coalition of Myaing Township PDF.
“We released them because they were civilians. We wanted them to know that they shouldn’t deliver rations to Pyu Saw Htee bases again,” said the official from Myaing PDF.
Myaing PDF is said to be observing the attempts of Pakokku based junta infantry division 101 to seize civilian vehicles and deliver rations to Pyu Saw Htee bases.
