SAGAING DIVISION – Mr. Kiri, the responsible person of Yadanarpon Front, reported that a junta police sergeant was captured in Sagaing.
It is said that the resistance forces penetrated a ward in Sagaing around 11 a.m. on December 8 and captured Police Sergeant Yin Tun Maung from No. 3 Police Academy at his home. 18 rounds of 7.62 bullets, 38 rounds of 5.56 bullets, a hand grenade, a pair of handcuffs, two helmets and two uniform shirts were also confiscated along with him.
“It all went smoothly as we planned it out thoroughly. His family was present but we did not harm them. We captured only him. There were junta dogs (junta forces) patrolling in the city,” said Mr. Kiri.
The operation was carried out by Burmese Revolution Force (B.R.F), Yadanarpon Front, Brave Soldiers Guerrilla Force and allied forces and it is said that the revolutionary forces are unharmed.
