TANINTHARYI DIVISION – People’s Defence Forces (PDF) are evacuating the residents of Tanintharyi Township affected by flood to safety.
The water level of Tanintharyi River passed the warning level starting July 21 and it affected the residents from most villages.
“There are over 50,000 flood victims in the township. The flood has lasted over a week. Some villages received help from PDFs,” said a resident.
