KARENNI STATE – It is reported that the comrades from No. 1006 Pekhon Battalion who had to give up body parts while fighting against the terrorist military council, were met and honored by the battalion’s officials.
On July 14, except for the PDF soldiers who were injured during the recent battles and are still receiving medical treatment, Pekhon PDF officials warmly met and gave tribute money to the recovered soldiers.
During the past three years of the revolution, a total of 18 comrades from PDF Battalion 1006 had lost their limbs or body parts. PDF soldiers who sacrificed for the country and the people were given monthly tributes by the battalion.
