SOUTHERN SHAN STATE – Mr.Khon Yain Yan, responsible person of News and information of PNLA (Pa-O National Liberation Army) said that terrorist junta and PNO Pyithusit (Pa-O National Organisation) attacked PNLA camp in southern part of Ho Nam region, Mawkmai Township ,Southern Shan State and battle was intense.
It has been known that since November 20, terrorist junta and junta slaved PNO Pyithusit invaded with many forces to Ho Nam region, Mawkmai Township as they neglected the request of monks and attacked PNLA, and the battle was intense till November 26.
Junta and junta slaved PNO Pyithusit blasted and destroyed the Pa-O village of Pa-O region with heavy weapons and drones in those attack.
It was stated that PNLA respected the request of Pa-O monks and didn’t start any battle in Pa-O region. But junta and junta slaved PNO neglected that request and invaded into Pa-O region and attacked PNLA.
It has been known that terrorist junta and junta slaved PNO Pyithusit burn and destroyed 3 civilians’ houses in Hteephatnan village, Ho Nam region, Mawkmai Township, Pa-O region and abducted 4 villagers in PNO Pyithusit office on November 28.
Mr.Khon Yain Yan, responsible person of News and information of PNLA said, “Blasting via drone and firing with heavy weapons was still happening. PNO Pyithusit destroyed 3 houses in Hteephatnan village, Ho Nam region. Yesterday (November 28), they (junta group) destroyed two houses and this morning one house and total three houses. Four civilians were abducted and taken to PNO Pyithusit office.”
“Pa-O people respect the word and request of elders and monks but PNO Pyithusits are burning Pa-O region themselves. The leaders of PNO who were Pa-O people should think and review their actions. They shouldn’t be destroying and abducting their own civilians,” said Mr.Khon Yain Yan, responsible person of News and information of PNLA.
