MYANMAR – The Myanmar diaspora protested against China’s show of support for the Myanmar terrorist junta council and Chinese intervention in Myanmar affairs in front of the Chinese embassy in the United Kingdom and the office of the Chinese representative to the UN in the United States.
Around 12:30 p.m. UK time on July 30, about 150 Myanmar citizens protested in front of the Chinese embassy in London, asking China to stop colluding with the terrorist junta council and to immediately halt all sales of weapons to the junta regime.
The protest was arranged by the revolutionary Myanmar people in the UK and the protestors chanted slogans denouncing China’s support of the Myanmar junta.
Similarly, on July 30 around 4 p.m. US time, Myanmar activists gathered in front of the office of the Chinese representative to the UN (China Mission) to condemn the Chinese government that continues to intervene and disrupt the Spring Revolution in Myanmar.
The protestors chanted slogans such as, “No one can stop our way back home,” “We, the people, will decide the future of our country,” “No broker can put a price on the revolution of the people,” and
“Everything shall be according to the will of the people” and also delivered open letters to the China Mission Office and related departments.
