PHILIPPINES – A protest march to the office of the Philippines Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held in Philippines, asking to recognise the National Unity Government (NUG) of Myanmar.
To commemorate the 36th anniversary of the 8888 uprising, representatives from the Philippines-Myanmar Team, Philippines Labour Organisation and the Philippines Trade Union marches to the Philippines Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The protestors marched against the rain and wind and demanded to return to democracy in Myanmar and to recognise the NUG, and also delivered an open letter to the Ministry.
