MANDALAY DIVISION – An official from PLA (People’s Liberation Army) Team No. 815 (North western military region) reported that two Pyu Saw Htee militants were killed and two weapons were confiscated after the Pyu Saw Htee militants that came out to patrol in two motorcycles from their base in Talaiyat Village, Taungtha Township were attacked.
Around 9 a.m. on November 19, revolutionary soldiers from PLA Team no. 815 penetrated into Talaiyat Village, a Pyu Saw Htee stronghold, and ambushed the Pyu Saw Htee forces that came out to patrol.
The attack lasted around ten minutes only but the revolutionary forces seized two bodies of Pyu Saw Htee thugs, including that of the Pyu Saw Htee leader Kyaw Min Htoo, a Type-81 gun, one carbine rifle, a Dayang brand motorcycle, 20 7.62mm bullets and 21 carbine bullets.
“The attack happened today (November 19). We went into Talaiyat Village and attacked them around 9 a.m. We launched the attack just as four Pyu Saw Htee thugs came out on two motorcycles. Two were killed on the spot,” said the official from PLA Team No. 815.
PLA Team 815 similarly raided and attacked the Pyu Saw Htee base in Talaiyat Village on November 1 and confiscated several weapons and ammunition.
