SAGAING DIVISION – Junta subordinate Pyu Saw Htee militants under the command of Pyu Saw Htee leader Wahtawa used drones to bomb the villages of Pinseinkhin and Monhla at the border of Khin U Township and Ye U Township, injuring 14 people, including two monks, and also damaging a monastery and several houses, reported local residents.
Starting as early as 1 a.m. on October 26, the Pyu Saw Htee thugs bombed the two villages, targeting the monastery and houses, causing harm to the civilians.
“Three bombs were dropped into our Pinseinkhin (Village) via drone around 2 a.m. Their target was a religious building, Wahso Monastery. The attack heavily injured two monks and three civilians, and the right side of the monastery was damaged,” said a resident.
Pinseinkhin Village is home to more than 200 households.
Similarly, Monhla Village in Khin U Township, that is home to over 500 households, was also attacked by the Pyu Saw Htee criminals from Kahboe Village in Kanbalu Township. It is said that four bombs were dropped into the village via drone around 1 a.m. on October 26.
“The damages were pretty severe in our village. Three houses were destroyed. Three cattle were killed. And nine civilians were injured,” said a resident of the village.
The junta subordinate Pyu Saw Htee thugs led by Wahtawa are reported to be avoiding confrontation with PDF forces but targeting civilians instead.
