MANDALAY DIVISION- An official from the Voice of Mandalay Group told the media that there was a fierce battle between the terrorist army and the revolutionary forces along the river in Madaya Township, and many casualties were reported on the junta side.
From the morning of November 15, in Madaya Township, fights took place between the local resistance forces and the terrorist junta army columns advanced from Shinhla Alal Village and Minkon Town along the riverbank.
Due to the high number of casualties on the junta side during these battles, the military junta council opened fire on the villages along the river bank with heavy weapons. It is reported that a woman in her fifties from Moegyo Village was injured due to the junta’s shellings.
“The military dogs opened heavy weapons fire in the evening and a woman over 50 from Moegyo Village was injured. Starting around 10:00 a.m., the military Column advanced towards the Udein Deer farm from the side of Shinhla Alal village and had a clash with resistance forces for over an hour. The fighting is intense today as another junta column came from Minkon town. As junta troops suffered high casualties, they have been firing heavy weapons toward the villages until late at night,” said an official of Voice Of Mandalay.
