KARENNI STATE – The Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF) announced on September 15 that they have captured all junta bases in Loi Lin Lay at the border of Karenni and Shan States and that 24 weapons of various types were confiscated.
Revolutionary forces attacked the junta troops stationed at the surrounding outposts, Kyaung Kone Camp, Konesut Camp, Aungpala Camp and Kayan Tower Tai Kone Camp in Loi Lin Lay from September 5 to 8 and it is said that 24 weapons of various types were confiscated and 30 junta soldiers were killed in those battles.
In addition, three were captured alive as POWs and the desperate junta council reportedly bombarded drone attacks, artillery and air strikes.
It is said that a woman and three men were killed by junta drone attacks and junta artillery attacks injured five civilians.
KNDF also announced that Company Commander Si Moe Nal (JND) from KNDF Battalion B28 honourably fell in battle on September 6.
The junta council, suffering from continuous defeats, targeted civilians with airstrikes, killing at least 14 civilians including a 2 year old child, injuring many and damaging numerous houses during the second week of September, according to the displaced people.
