SAGAING DIVISION – Local revolutionary forces urged the civilians to be cautious as there are junta warships and cargo ships from Mindaunt Port in Monywa moving along the river.
It is said that a total of 21 junta ships sailed up from Mindaunt Port along the Chindwin River towards upper Sagaing Division on September 21 around 8 a.m. and the civilians living in the villages along the river are advised to be cautious.
Although that junta fleet has yet to open fire into the surroundings, it is reportedly guarded by a Mi-35 helicopter.
“They haven’t opened fire on the villages yet. It’s calm. They left from Mindaunt Port in Ahlone, Monywa along the Chindwin River. There are three warships, five wooden barges, six barges covered in tarpaulin, two crane ships and five ships loaded with copper, a total of 21 ships. A Mi-35 is also following and guarding them,” shared a local revolutionary news source.
