SAGAING DIVISION – The Sagaing Forum Organising Team published a statement on August 31, urging the foreign investors in Sagaing Division to cease collaboration with the terrorist junta group and to prioritise the will and interests of the people.
The team mentioned that foreign investments need to foster long-term benefits for the people and minimize adverse impacts on the local community and the environment.
The team also acknowledged that there are numerous challenges for the stability and operation of foreign investments in Sagaing Division during the Spring Revolution period and stated that they’d prefer the investments in Sagaing Division to be mutually beneficial and to emerge as a stable commerce zone.
