MAGWAY DIVISION – Saw Township People’s Defence Organisation (PDO) warned that they will take effective action against those stealing the belongings of the displaced people in Kyaukhtu, Saw and Laungshe in Gangaw District.
The PDO said that as the revolution gains momentum, the people from the towns of Kyaukhtu, Saw and Laungshe as well as the villages and wards close to the terrorist junta bases had to flee to IDP camps, houses or villages with relatives or acquaintances, or the jungles to escape air and artillery attacks.
Although people had to leave their belongings at home and flee, criminals are taking advantage of it and committing break-ins and thefts in the villages, wards and towns without a shred of humanity.
As such, the PDO asked to report the criminals caught red handed, and those who purchase or accept the stolen items to the village representatives of the PDO or PAB (People’s Administration Body) and warned that those arrested will face serious consequences.
