BAGO DIVISION – The terrorist junta regime leader Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Taungoo and the security has been extremely tightened for his itinerary, according to residents.
As the war criminal junta chief arrived in Taungoo on August 23 morning, jammers were placed all around the city and hundreds of junta forces were deployed in Taungoo and outside the city. On top of that, Min Aung Hlaing was additionally surrounded by special security forces throughout his visit.
“Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Taungoo around 11 a.m. There was an attack on Taungoo Air Base on August 20 and mine blasts at the municipal office, electricity office and traffic police housings on August 22. So, security is tightened all over the town during his visit,” said a local news source.
Min Aung Hlaing’s visit to Taungoo was prepared at a moment’s notice and the related person’s were only informed one day in advance, according to junta staff.
