NAY PYI TAW – A representative team of senior officers from the neighbouring Thailand’s Thai Royal Police Force is reported to have arrived in Nay Pyi Taw.
The team arrived on a special flight on October 21 and is reportedly scheduled to meet the junta council’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and members of the junta police force as well as attend the police assembly then leave Nay Pyi Taw on October 25.
“Thai Police Force arrived in Nay Pyi Taw by special flight yesterday (October 21). Today, they are making calls and will reportedly attend the assembly. The discussion agenda includes cooperation on border crimes, exchange of prisoners and cooperation to fight drugs, the usual topics,” said a source from Nay Pyi Taw.
There have been increased dealings between the terrorist junta council and Thailand. Thailand is also planning to lead a discussion on Myanmar affairs in December and there have been increased cooperations in terms of military and police between the two countries.
