MANDALAY DIVISION – The allied Revolutionary Forces reportedly carried out simultaneous attacks on four junta bases in Taungtha Township, at around 5:00 a.m., on August 12, and they set fire to the junta council’s vest factory and truck, according to an official of Taungtha People’s Defence Force.
The allied Revolutionary Forces attacked the junta bases in Hpayar Hla Village that was dominated by Pyu Saw Htee thugs, China Gas Pipe Line near Min Kan Village, the checkpoint near quarry drilling machine and No 1 industry vest factory in Taungtha Township. He continued that they also launched drone strikes over Taungtha Magyi Yoe Gate and junta bases in Taungtha Town, while attacking simultaneously on those four junta bases.
The junta fighter jets from Meiktila airbase bombarded with three bombs during the fights, but the joint forces were not harmed, he said. At present, it is said that a jet fighter was hovering over Taungtha Town.
The operations were carried out by Taungtha People’s Defence Force (Taungtha PDF), Myingyan District Battalion 3 and 9, 801 Infantry of Naypyitaw, Taungtha People’s Defence Organisation, Meiktila People’s Defence Organisation and Battalion 5 of Nyaung-U Township.
On the morning of August 10, the allied forces of Taungtha PDF combated the junta troop that were guarding the power plant in Wae Laung Village of Taungtha Township.
