TANINTHARYI DIVISION – The revolutionary forces attacked the terrorist junta forces setting fire to and destroying Lelthit Village in Tanintharyi Township and seriously wounded six junta troops including an officer, according to an official from Kyunsu Township People’s Defence Force (PDF).
The revolutionary forces were said to have attacked the terrorist junta forces torching the village on August 2 using small and heavy weapons.
The attacked junta forces invaded Tanintharyi Township around three days ago. They entered Lelthit Village after the flood water receded from the village and set fire to four houses in the village when revolutionary forces opened fire on them.
“We are not sure of there were any deaths among the junta dogs (junta forces). We were told that six were injured and that an officer was among them. The junta dogs torched and destroyed four houses,” said the official from Kyunsu Township PDF.
