YANGON DIVISION – An official of the Anonymous Force (Rangoon Military Region – PRF) said that three policemen were killed when attacking Tamwe Township police station using grenades.
The attack was carried out to Tamwe Township police station at about 2:40 p.m. on August 28 as the junta council’s polices have been protecting the benefit of terrorist council but torturing and oppressing the civilians. Some policemen were killed and one was severely injured.
“Today, grenade was thrown at the police station in Tamwe Township. Three policemen inside the police station were killed on the spot. One was severely injured and in critical condition,” said an official of Anonymous Force (Rangoon Military Region – PRF).
The attack was carried out as part of “Operation Cheetah” and the revolutionary soldiers were able to withdraw safely without any harm.
After that attack, the terrorist military council soldiers came to the police station, surrounded the camp with green tarpaulins, and carried away the bodies of the policemen in vehicles. Some police sources also confirmed about the attack with grenades.
