CHIN STATE – Local residents reported that the junta army conducted an airstrike in a village in Mindat Township at about 3 a.m. on August 31, destroying some houses of the locals.
Due to the news of revolutionary forces planning to attack Mindat Town, the fascist army has been attacking everyday using grenade carrying drones and conducting airstrikes with fighter jets as a means of defending in advance, a Mindat resident explained.
A local resident who is well versed in the military situation said “It could be defending in advance as they (junta) got news that Mindat Town might be attacked. Our armed forces (revolutionary forces) have already controlled the surroundings since long ago. Now, the fascist council is reinforcing its strength near the town and conducting military training. The junta army could be afraid and firing aimlessly since Matupi Town has been also captured by revolutionary forces. Some junta thugs would like to defect from their battalion.”
It was reportedly known from locals that food ration was delivered again to junta battalion 274 at Mindat Town using a Y-12 plane at around 9.a.m. on August 31.
The atrocious junta’s military base in Mindat Town is said to be stronger in strength and better in defending, compared to the base in Matupi.
Chinland Defense Force (CDF) issued a statement on August 21 that battle could break out anytime since the terrorist army has been conducting airstrikes, firing heavy weapons, and attacking with grenade carrying drones in Mindat Township.
