MAGWAY DIVISION – It was reported from the residents that after the Junta Council collected Form 10 (Household List) from 4 Wards of No. 6 area in Yaysagyo at around 2 o’clock this morning on September 21st, some local youths are also fleeing from their homes.
Houses in Myoma ward, Palaesu ward, Aung Chanthar ward and Pyaythaya Ward were collected in the household list, form 10 by a team consisting of 40 members of soldiers, police, Pyu Saw Htee, firefighters and the Red Cross members.
After being collected, more than 200 young men from those neighborhoods fled their homes because they were afraid of being put into the military service, he said.
“No. 6 is a ward where the governor is still working. The administrator is Pyu Saw Htee, who is also acting as a leader. His name is Min Aung. It is known that the reason for collecting form 10 is for military service if necessary. Many young people from the neighborhood had to avoid it. “Some young people are running away because they are afraid of military service,” said a local resident of Yaysagyo.
Among the 800 houses and a population of around 2,000 in those 4 neighborhoods, the above resident estimated that 60 percent of the 18- to 50-year-olds males run away after the collection of Form 10.
He added that, during the second week of September, 70 men from Number 6, Myoma ward, Palaesu ward, Aung Chanthar ward and Pyaythaya Ward were taken to military service by junta council groups, 50 middle-aged men were given training in joint offices, and about 20 elderly men were released.
It is reported from the residents that the junta council is stationed in joint offices in the city of Yaysagyo, and they are raiding the city quarters, shooting and arresting the locals.
