MANDALAY DIVISION – It was reported that there have been some cases in Patheingyi Township where some men who went out after 8:00 p.m. were abducted.
The abductees were the locals of quarters and villages in Patheingyi Township and two of them were captured recently on October 24 night, according to a villager of Ywar Shay Village.
The junta local administrators have reportedly been spreading news that the military rule has been declared and thereby, not to go out at night.
There are also some rumours that the abductees will be sent to the junta army for the enlistment, reported the locals.
In Patheingyi Township which is close to Mandalay City, Mandalay People’s Defence Force (MDY PDF) has invaded and captured some of the junta soldiers’ camps.
The security in Mandalay and Patheingyi was enhanced by the junta regime since the two places are only 20 Miles away from each other.
