BAGO DIVISION – An official from the Mountain Knights – Civilian Defense Force (MKCDF) said that seven 107mm shock missiles were fired at the Taungoo airbase of the junta council in Taungoo, and 4 of them exploded.
Revolutionary forces fired seven 107 mm short range missiles into the Taungoo Air Base on August 20th, at 11:56 p.m., and 4 of them successfully hit the targets. The damage to the camp and the death of the junta council are still under investigation.
The attack was carried out by the Mountain Knights Civilian Defense Force (MKCDF) group under the management of the Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) group, Mercury Revolution Force (MRF), Than Taung North Special Region Group, military region 31 comrades jointly operated.
It is reported that the Taungoo Air Force base is mainly used to attack the people and revolutionary forces in the Karenni region, southern Shan State and Karen State.
“We only know roughly that a building was hit but it has not been confirmed yet. If we know more, we will release the details,” said an official from the Mountain Knights – Civilian Defense Force – MKCDF.
Now is the time when all the revolutionary groups participating in the revolution must fight against the defeated war council from everywhere, so the MKCDF group, together with the revolutionary brothers and sisters from all over the country, has been informed that they have attacked the Taungoo air base.
