CHIN STATE – The Tedim 100 beds General Hospital which was closed for two months due to ongoing battles was reopened on August 1, according to residents.
“Currently, there are two assistant medical officers. Once the hospital reopened, there are already patients admitted. So far, one in-patient has been admitted,” said a resident of Tedim.
A social assistance group leader said that the churches in Tedim raised funds to renovate and clean the hospital that was closed for two months, and the community elders worked to reopen it by the end of July.
Schools were similarly reopened in Tedim on August 1 while the electricity and internet were restored on July 26.
