SAGAING DIVISION – Tens of thousands of people from more than ten villages are fleeing to safety due to the terrorist army’s aerial bombardment of five villages in Khin U Township for two days in a row, said Mr. Htoo Khant Zaw (Amaethar), the information officer of the Ye U based People’s Defense Comrade.
On the night of August 30th and the early morning of 31st, the terrorist junta air force bombed Ma Daunggyi Village, Shweka Village, Thanut Sein Village, Ba Oh Village and Sayputaya Village.
As the terrorist junta bomber planes have been hovering over Khin U Township the whole day on August 31st, it is not yet possible to confirm the status of damage in the village and whether civilians were affected.
In addition, the people of the bombed villages and tens of thousands of people from more than ten nearby villages are also fleeing to safety.
“Villages in the northern part of Khin U have been attacked by jet fighters at least six times this morning (August 31). Fighter jets are continuously firing, and the current ground conditions are not yet confirmed. People are also fleeing as a matter of urgency. There is no fighting going on in the bombed villages at the moment. They are attacking and killing the people. There are more than ten villages fleeing. There are tens of thousands of people fleeing,” said Mr. Htoo Khant Zaw.
