MANDALAY DIVISION – It was reportedly known from locals residents and military source that terrorist army fired racklessly on August 22 towards Pyin Oo Lwin Township.
The sound of heavy weapons were heard near December Garden at about 10 p.m. on August 22, then firing of heavy artilleries again at 10:23 p.m. There were also military planes flying around 10:37 p.m. and heavy weapons were heard again on 11:05, 11:18 and 11:39 p.m.
“Continuous firing of heavy weapons last night. Houses were shaking because of the sound of heavy weapons. It was said to be firing from junta army. They were firing at the sides they thought might be having Ta’ang National Liberation Army forces (TNLA). They also scouted with airplanes,” a resident from Yaethayaukkone village of Pyin Oo Lwin Township said.
In addition, the fascist army has been digging bunkers in the outskirts villages and wards of Pyin Oo Lwin Town and forcing the local people to do it.
