SAGAING DIVISION – Nay Myo Bago, spokesman for the 18th Battalion, said that the funeral of the Deputy Battalion Commander of PDF Shwebo District No. (18) Battalion, who was killed in the battle of Field (500) in Thabeikkyin township, Mandalay Division, was held today.
“The alms offering was made today in his native village in Sagaing Division. There were his wife son and daughter left after him. “His wife is a CDM school teacher,” said Comrade Nay Myo Bago.
On August 26th, the People’s Defense Coalition Forces attacked the enemy’s 500 field camp. It is said that the deputy battalion commander was killed on the spot in that battle.
It is said that the 500 field camp was the base station of the terrorist army that had been reassembled for the last stand from all over the Thabeikkyin area, who fled and ran away from their camps.
The funeral ceremony of Comrade San Thein, the deputy battalion commander, was held at the battalion camp on August 28, and the footage of the funeral was also revealed.
