MANDALAY DIVISION – According to Kyaukse Revolution Army, the junta (armed) administrator Win Maung was shot and killed on the spot last Thursday (August 1).
On August 1, at noon, the administrator Win Maung (who was armed) got shot and killed by the revolutionary forces near Shanthunga Village while returning home from Myit Thar police station.
“The guy died on the spot. Those forces who did the mission confirmed his death. He is notorious for challenging the whole village using a loudspeaker. The military council armed him with a (hand-made) pistol. Due to a situation, we were unable to seize his belongings. He was shot on his way home from the Myit Thar police, near his village,” said an official of Kyaukse Revolution Army.
The attack was reportedly carried out by Kyaukse Revolution Army and Kyaukse District Defense Force (KDDF). Furthermore, an official from the Kyaukse Revolution Army warned the administrators to resign or be attacked if they continue to act according to the will of the terrorist military council and bully the people. He also called for junta forces to join the People’s Embrace.
