SHAN STATE – Ta’ang National Liberation Army said that the terrorist junta bombarded over 60 bombs with its Y-12 aircraft on the residential wards and villages in Hsipaw Township of Shan (North) State, the Brigade-2’s area of TNLA, killing a nun, injuring two people.
On October 9, at 3:00 p.m., the terrorist junta’s Y-12 aircraft bombarded 10 bombs on Shwe Kyaung Ward and Pan Tein (South) Ward in Hsipaw Town, and the administration office and the residential houses in Shwe Kyaung Ward and Mr. Aik Tu’s house in Pan Tein (South) Ward were reportedly damaged.
Similarly, on October 8, at around 10:00 p.m., the terrorist junta’s Y-12 aircraft bombarded over 50 bombs on Taung Myo Ward, Pan Tein (South) Ward, Oke Kyin Ward and Nam Ngone Village in Hsipaw Township, and the bombs landed and exploded at the monastery in Nam Ngone Village, killing a nun and injuring Mr. Myint Lwin and his wife.
In addition, the residential houses in Taung Myo Ward, Pan Tein (South) Ward and Oke Kyin Ward were also destroyed.
