THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA: It was known that 36th Anniversary of “8888 Uprising” had been commemorated from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. on August 10 in New York, the USA.
At the ceremony, 88 generation Mr.Nay Tin Myint, Gen Z Mr. Aung Naing Latt and Mz. Khaing Mar Htay, the representative of Pyithu Hluttaw reportedly delivered the commemoration speeches and the singer Mr. Win Naing Soe sang the revolutionary songs.
“8888 Uprising True Story” organised by New York City Burmese Community (NYCBC) was also performed. Before the ceremony ended, the revolutionary slogans were known to have been recited.
