MYANMAR – It has been reported that the coup leader Min Aung Hlaing blamed the EAOs (Ethnic Armed Organisations) in Myanmar for the ongoing battles across the country.
The coup leader mentioned in the meeting which was held on November 29 that the EAOs are taking advantage of the peace by building their strengths, manufacturing weapons, training PDF (People’s Defence Forces) and selling ammunition.
He also mentioned that KIA (Kachin Independence Army) provided training for PDF and are participating in the battles along with PDF in Sagaing Division as well as in the battles alongside MNDAA in Kokang Region.
Regarding the situation in which military camps and towns were surrendered due to Operation 1027, the war criminal accused the Three Brotherhood Alliance Forces of using superior forces, claiming that they are using military grade drones and drop bombs with technological superiority.
He added that they (the junta council) discovered that 6500 foreign drone experts participated in those battles. He also blamed that AA is disloyal.
The coup leader mentioned that “AA dishonestly violated the temporary ceasefire agreement by participating in battles against the junta council in alliance with MNDAA and also recently attacked two small security posts in Paletwa, Pauk Taw Town and a few police stations using superior forces.”
He said that the junta council managed to preemptively arrest the ammunition flowing to KNDF and accused that those ammunition entered from the SSPP/SSA (Southern Shan Progress Party/ Southern Shan Army) territory.
He added that UWSA (United Wa State Army) is not currently participating in the battles against the junta council but is mass manufacturing weapons and ammunition.
