YANGON DIVISION – The house of actor Yan Aung who has been showing support for the junta council at Baukhtaw Mya Yadanar Street in Yankin Township was attacked with minor explosive on November 14 around 12:45 p.m. as a warning, stated Dark Shadow Team.
Dark Shadow said that they carried out the attack as a warning after it has become evident in news and social media that Yan Aung is a supporter of the junta council that is constantly causing troubles for the people.
“There was an explosion in Baukhtaw in the afternoon. We heard that it was at the house of Yan Aung but we are not certain. It happened at Mya Yadanar Street. We didn’t clearly hear the explosion. But there are army and police cars going towards Baukhtaw,” said a resident of Yankin.
Dark Shadow said that the attack served as a warning to not just Yan Aung but all artists supporting the junta council.
Urban guerrilla groups have requested the people to stay away from places related to the junta council and gathering places of junta soldiers, police and Pyu Saw Htee militants.
In recent days, artists supporting the junta council including Yan Aung, Yone Lay, Khant Sithu, Soe Myat Thuzar, May Than Nu, Dain Daung and Zinyaw Maung Maung went to welcome the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing returning from China.
