SHAN STATE – Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported that the terrorist junta army bombarded Nawnghkio with its military aircrafts, on the afternoon of October 19, injuring three people and destroying ten residential houses.
On October 19, at 2:05 p.m., two junta fighter jets dropped one 500-pound bomb and two 300-pound bombs on Par Hat Ward in Nawnghkio Town.
It was reported that three civilians were injured, and ten residential houses were destroyed due the terrorist junta’s airstrike attacks.
Similarly, a father and two sons, including an 8-year-old boy, were killed on the spot and three were injured by the terrorist junta airstrikes in the early morning of October 19.
TNLA seized complete control of Hsipaw Town, on October 12. TNLA said the fighting has stopped after the Palaung State Liberation Front (PSLF)/TNLA captured Nawnghkio, Kyaukme, Hsipaw, Mogoke and Mongmit towns during Operation 1025 Part 2, but the atrocious junta army continues to launch aerial bombings there.
